Soon to be Mrs. Marshall.....

I got engaged on December 6, 2008. The story goes like this....

Justin had been telling me all week that we were going to do something fun on this particular weekend. He was telling me what I was going to need to wear something very warm that it was going to be "REALLY" cold. So of course, you know us girls, we have to go shopping. Unexpected of what was really going to happen, I spent all of that afternoon getting ready. We left a little earlier than expected and ate at Bone fish Grill in Montgomery. Not to mention, the food was really great. When we got back in the car Justin had me push "go" on the GPS. The name on the GPS was Jennifer's destination. So from that point on, I knew that this whole thing was a surprise. Justin had drew a few clues on a napkin for me, but I had no clue. We began our journey by heading to my destination. We crossed the state line of Georgia, and I began to wonder......Justin had taken me to Callaway Gardens Christmas "Fantasy in Lights". Something I had always wanted to do since I was a little girl. Not knowing that I was about to be engaged, I began to get excited as we drove seeing the signs that said, "This way to Callaway Gardens." We got on the wagon to enjoy the lights. It was so cold, but we were having so much fun, that did not bother us so much. After we got off the wagon, we went to get a hot glass of hot chocolate. Sitting on a nearby bench, we watched The Christmas story by the lake. Justin began to say how much he loved me, and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. As I began to say something, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. So excited I through up my glass of hot chocolate and jumped in his arms leaving him hanging whether or not I was going to say yes. After I gained my cool back I said yes, and finally let him put my ring on. Oh, by the way it is so GORGEOUS.
